Previously locked central gate removed, removing need for cyclists to open sprung side gate. Planter boxes obstruct central gate enough to prevent motor vehicle access, but not enough to stop footway parking alongside. See also #85471.

The Bears Way cycle track has priority over vehicles exiting the fitness club. Not so clear about vehicles entering.

Once you've managed to get onto the track, the Bears Way offers protection from the motor traffic on the A81. But the cycle track switches sides shortly, at the 'golden arches' visible in the distance.

A new step-free bridge over the River Kelvin, replacing #36381, and connecting Balmore with Cadder.

Covered cycle parking outside ASDA Bearsden. It's a pity that there isn't even a single stand outside the ASDA Maryhill store, a couple of miles away.
